The Wines of Piedmont in the Czech Republic for the 4th edition of Barolo & Friends Prague

After a year’s absence, the Consortium is ready to return to the strategic market of the Czech capital.

After a year’s absence, I Vini del Piemonte is pleased to announce the return to the Czech Republic of Barolo & Friends Prague, on January 13, 2026, for what will be its fourth edition. An important event that marks the consolidation of a special bond with the Czech market.

The event, which will be held at the prestigious Hotel Eurostars Thalia and organized by I Vini del Piemonte, has become a benchmark for industry professionals and enthusiasts, dedicated to promoting Piedmont’s winemaking excellences in the heart of the Czech Republic. The return to Prague after a year’s break underscores the strategic importance of this market and the desire to strengthen the presence of Piedmontese wines.

The activity is designed to allow wineries not yet imported to create new business opportunities and for those already on the market to consolidate their presence. The event is aimed at professionals in the wine & food sector, including importers, HORECA operators, sommeliers, and specialized journalists, offering them a unique opportunity to discover and appreciate the richness and diversity of Piedmontese wines.

The program* for the fourth edition will include:

• 12:00 PM – 12:15 PM: Producer arrival at the venue.
• 12:15 PM – 1:00 PM: Seminar for producers led by Michal Setka and introduced by Giulia Novajra, Director of the Consortium.
• 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM: Trade Masterclass conducted by Michal Setka.
• 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM: Walk-around tasting reserved for trade operators
