I professionisti norvegesi alla scoperta del Piemonte vitivinicolo: un viaggio studio tra vigne storiche, approfondimenti tecnici e dialogo diretto con i produttori.
From May 5 to 8, 2027, our region will host an exclusive educational tour designed to bring the Norway market even closer to Piedmont’s winemaking excellence, featuring dedicated stops across the vineyard landscapes of Langhe, Roero, and Monferrato. This immersive journey offers a hands-on exploration of the complexity and elegance of iconic appellations such as Barolo DOCG, Barbaresco DOCG, Barbera d’Asti DOCG, Roero DOCG, and Nizza DOCG.
For this edition, the Consortium is launching a strategic partnership with Oslo Wine School. A leading wine education institution based in Norway’s capital, the school stands out for a teaching approach that combines academic rigor, passion, and engaging communication. In addition to serving as an approved programme provider for internationally recognized WSET certifications, Oslo Wine School actively trains hospitality staff, future wine industry professionals, and an attentive community of passionate wine enthusiasts.
Norway represents one of the most dynamic and quality-conscious markets, with a strong appreciation for the sustainability and authentic identity of Piedmontese wines. Partnering with an academic institution of this caliber provides us with an ideal channel to further strengthen the reputation and value of our appellations abroad.
In-Depth Masterclasses: Luca Eula will lead a masterclass structured to analyze Piedmont’s diverse terroirs, soils, climatic nuances, and the aging potential of native grape varieties.
Winery Visits and Vineyard Walks: The Norwegian delegation will head straight to the production heart of member wineries, engaging directly with winemakers among the rows and in the barrel cellars to understand their philosophy and cellar practices.
Convivial Dining & Pairings: Specially curated lunches and dinners at traditional local restaurants will showcase food-and-wine pairings between member wineries’ labels and authentic Piedmontese cuisine, enriched by personal storytelling from the producers themselves.
This initiative is a valuable opportunity on two fronts: it offers Norwegian students and professionals a direct, field-based educational experience that is impossible to replicate in a classroom, while providing I Vini del Piemonte member wineries with concrete visibility, high-level networking, and commercial connections with qualified trade members from a key market like Norway.
The group will be led and coordinated by Jane Nisbet Huseby, with Luca Eula accompanying them on behalf of I Vini del Piemonte.
