The educational tour for The Wine Hub returns to Piedmont: a new chapter dedicated to knowledge, discovery, and direct engagement between producers and professionals.
From February 3 to 6, 2027, we are hosting an exclusive tour dedicated to discovering the wine excellence of our region, focusing on the Langhe, Roero, and Monferrato territories. This is an unmissable opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of Barolo DOCG, Barbaresco DOCG, Roero DOCG, Barbera d’Asti DOCG, and Nizza DOCG, all while immersing yourself in the beauty of the Piedmontese landscape.
The Consortium is continuing its long-standing collaboration with The Wine Hub, a premier organization founded in 2021. This modern “wine hub” specializes in masterclasses, in-depth sessions, and targeted tastings, working actively with Sweden’s leading importers.
Thanks to their extensive international network and numerous partnerships with foreign consortia, The Wine Hub is a vital partner for us. The Consortium has been working with them for years on a variety of initiatives: from serving as a main partner in many past editions of “Barolo & Friends” in Stockholm to organizing the “Piemonte Door to Door” project for Stockholm’s restaurant scene in February 2026, as well as the ongoing trade masterclasses that are a staple of our continuous promotional activities in Sweden.
Masterclass: Sandro Minella will guide the sommeliers on a journey through the Piedmontese appellations, providing an in-depth look at their regional characteristics and winemaking distinctiveness.
Winery Visits: Participants will have the opportunity to visit various estates, meet the producers, and discover the secrets behind the winemaking process firsthand in both the vineyards and the cellars.
Convivial Experiences: Dedicated lunches and dinners will provide the perfect setting to enjoy traditional local cuisine paired with prestigious labels, all presented by the producers themselves.
Verduno Focus: A central highlight of the tour will be a masterclass dedicated entirely to the Verduno Producers’ Association, followed by an official dinner showcasing their specific production profile.
This initiative offers a unique experience to enrich the professional expertise of the members of this prestigious Wine Club, as well as a valuable opportunity for our member wineries to connect with Swedish professionals.
The Swedish group will be accompanied by Marika Wærn, CEO & Founder of The Wine Hub, and led by Sandro Minella, wine communicator for I Vini del Piemonte and a tour leader with extensive experience in our educational tours dedicated to Scandinavian trade professionals.
