April 23, 2026: An Exclusive Evening Exploring Piedmont’s Wines and Danish Cuisine
On April 23, 2026, the day after the seventeenth edition of the Barolo & Friends Event in Copenhagen, “Drink&Bite” returns for its eighth edition—the most anticipated wine & food event dedicated to Piedmont of the year.
This year, Drink&Bite will once again take on a truly interactive format.
The hosts for this edition of Drink&Bite will be Morten Brink Iwersen, who led the 2025 masterclasses, and chef Gorm Wisweh, renowned for his WeareGorm venues and a highlight of Drink&Bite 2025.
Following last year’s success, Drink&Bite will continue its interactive approach: for each course, the audience will be invited to decide which of the two wines presented by Morten best complements the dish. This will be followed by an open discussion with Morten, who will share his reasoning and answer guests’ questions.
It’s a fun and engaging way to deepen your knowledge of wine. Morten will also explain the characteristics of each label and its connection to the region, sharing his experiences and tips for ideal pairings.
Chef Gorm Wisweh will guide guests through the stories behind his culinary creations.
The evening will be further enriched by the presence of the producers themselves, true stars of the night, with their wines highlighting the connection between Piedmontese wines and international cuisine.

7:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Drink&Bite – Discovering Piemonte Taste: Dinner featuring a menu specially crafted by Chef Gorm Wisweh, paired with a selection of wines presented by the attending producers and guided by journalist Morten Brink Iwersen
9:00 PM – 10:00 PM: Walk-around tasting resumes
