I Vini del Piemonte in Munich with Slow Wine

The alliance between the consortium of promotion and the prestigious guide is renewed to present the very best of the Italian and Piedmontese wine production in Germany

For the first time, I Vini del Piemonte took part in the tour stop organized by Slow Wine in Munich, capital of Bayern and seat of more than 500 restaurants of the Italian cuisine, to present the top quality wine productions of Italy and Piedmont.

The event took place on Monday, 3rd February 2020, in the very central seat of Eataly, the first store in Europe of the Turin giant of gastronomy, where some 60 wine producers from all aver Italy presented their labels to 350 sector operators and some wine lovers, during the short final session dedicated to consumers.

Together with the wineries selected by the prestigious Slow Wine guide, German sector operators and wine lovers met a group of producers of I Vini del Piemonte and Consorzio Tutela Nebbioli Alto Piemonte.

Germany is one of the countries with the highest wine consumption in the world, the second importer of Italian wine after United States of America and reference point for Piedmont, which has always been among the favourite destinations for the German wine tourists. This is an historic market and therefore certainly competitive; here the promotion addressed to different types of professional operators (importers, dealers, ho.re.ca, sommeliers etc.) is essential for a valuable export.
