Saturday May 25th 2019 – Copenhagen: second edition of the exceptional tasting event to try the flavours of Piedmontese gastronomy together with the best Piedmontese wines.

After the positive experience of the first edition, the event “Drink&Bite: discover the Piedmontese taste!” came back to Copenhagen. It has been a unique occasion to try tasty pairings between the flagship products of the Piedmontese gastronomy together with the wines of Piedmont, one of the most important wine producing region of Italy and the world!
A food&wine event conceived for a young public, who had the opportunity to taste the wines of 8 producers from Piedmont matched with some Piedmont gastronomy delicacies: the cured meats of Agrisalumeria Luiset, the cheeses of Pascoli di Amaltea and the rice of DIQUI from the Road Association of Rice Vercelli Quality.
The event took place on Saturday May 25th 2019, the day after the 11th edition of the Barolo & Friends Event in Copenhagen, at Nebbiolo Winebar, a location where it is possible to taste a glass of wine as well as to find bottles of quality wines coming from all around Italy, where people can stroll during happy hours, as well as have informal dinners and where it is possible to buy a great selection of Italian products, such as: wine, salami, cheese, beers, cold cuts, oil, sauces, etc… in other words a piece of Piedmont in the heart of Copenhagen!
Inside this location there was a food area and an area for the producers of Piedmontese wines who personally presented their labels to taste during two sessions: from 16.30 to 19.00 and from 19.30 to 22.00. The tastings were led by the storytellers Sandro Minella and Silvia Paoli, who guided the public in the choice of pairings.
All the participants received a free stem glass as a souvenir.
