The event “Italy Land of Wine: the beauty of manual skills” is a confirmation after the positive experiences in 2015, 2016 and 2017, with the aim to present the very best wine productions of Italy to the Japanese sector professionals, with a specific focus on Piedmontese wines.
The event will be held at the Happo-en, that will host a walk around tasting and two master classes on Piedmontese wines, led by Isao Miyajima, Ambassador of I Vini del Piemonte in Japan, considered one of the leading experts in wine in the Land of the Rising Sun.
On the same days there will be two wine dinners: Sunday November 11th, h 19.00, at the La Ciau restaurant and Monday November 12th, h 19.00, at the Pepe Rosso restaurant, both aimed at Japanese wine lovers.
Japan, fourth wine importer in the world in terms of value, represents an extremely interesting market: the GDP per capita is much more higher than the Italian one; moreover, Japanese consumers are definitively more prepared as far as wine is concerned and consider extremely important that wine represents a territory and its peculiarities. In this, Italian wines take a clear advantage, also thanks to the fact that in Japan there is a great enthusiasm for everything coming from our country.
