On Friday November 16th 2018 the Moltke’s Palace, a prestigious 18th-century palace in the historical heart of Copenhagen, hosted a great tasting event with the wine producing companies members of I Vini del Piemonte and some Italian companies included in the prestigious Slow Wine guide, published by Slow Food Editore: some 30 top producers presented their labels to Danish sector professionals and wine lovers. An opportunity to get to know the producers, wines and the stories behind in a personal and professional way!
The main topics of the event focused on an artisanal wine production which is carried out by respecting the territory, its people, a sustainable vineyard management, since they all flow into the organoleptic qualities of the wine itself. The attending wine companies were carefully selected to guarantee the Danish wine lovers the possibility to meet those who represent a good, clean and fair oenology.
The event was divided into three different sessions: one reserved for the sector professionals (importers, restaurateurs, ho.re.ca, sommeliers, journalists, bloggers, etc.) and two for the public of Danish consumers and wine lovers.
For the consumer sessions there waas also a great selecion of Amarone, Brunello di Montalcino and old vintages from The Wine Bank of Pollenzo.
The participants in the consumer sessions also had the chance to win two 1.5-liter Magnum bottles: Roero Riserva Dogc “Trinità” 2007 and Roero Superiore Doc “Trinità” 2003 from Malvirà winery.
