The Consortium “i Vini del Piemonte” organizes the first edition of the Barolo & Friends Event in Norway, which will take place in Oslo on 3rd March 2014.
The first edition of the Barolo & Friends Event in Norway took place on 3rd March 2014 in the theatrefoyer of Det Norske Teatret in Oslo. The event was held during the course of one single day and was split into two separate events, one dedicated to the trade sector and the other to Norwegian consumers and wine lovers.
10.30am / 4.30pm: Workshop dedicated exclusively to trade sector (Ho.Re.Ca., importers, representatives of the monopoly, sommeliers and journalists specializing in the tourism and wine and food sector).
4.30pm / 7.30pm: open to wine lovers and consumers, with the participation of Norwegian sommelier associations and wine clubs.
11.00 am: Wine Seminar directed exclusively to the trade sector “Nebbiolo, a ‘great’ wine with the potential to age” held by Andrea Faccio, President of the Consortium “I Vini del Piemonte”, together with Lars G. Rein Helliesen, opinion leader with over 15 years of experience as a manager and sommelier in the catering sector, co-founder and partner of Gaia Wine & Spirits, one of the most important Italian wine importers in Norway.
10.30am / 4.30pm: representatives of the Norwegian monopoly will have the opportunity to taste the wines from Piedmont in a separate room dedicated exclusively to monopoly tasting.
