From 25th to 27th April 2015, a group of producers from the Consortium I Vini del Piemonte took part, for the second consecutive year, in the B2B event with 130 importers from the USA, Canada and South America.
After the excellent results of last year, I Vini del Piemonte came back to the Word Wine Meetings Americawith a delegation of the best of the region’s producers. The event, organized by the prestigious French company Adhesion Group – already sponsor of various international events that already enjoy great recognition, including Vinisud and Vinisud Asia – was held from 25th to 27th April 2015 at the Embassy Suites Downtown in the Lakefront Hotel, Chicago.
The program included a series of B2B meetings during which the Piedmontese producers presented their wines to 130 importers from USA, Canada and South America. Depending on company profiles and importers’ demands, each producer had the opportunity to take part in some 25 meetings lasting 40 minutes, in a private room.
For years, the United States has been the leading market for Italian wines, and Piedmontese wines in particular, in terms of consumption. The size and diversity of the country make it a strategic destination and attractive for small and medium sized companies. The development of quality catering and the growing interest of Americans for the “Made in Italy” stamp confirm this area as a priority for the promotional activities of Piedmontese wine abroad.
